Plugin Jam: Season 4
Plugin Jam is a Minecraft competition where developers build a Spigot plugin to a theme, then have it played and scored live on stream for cash prizes. For Season 4 we rebuilt the whole event and opened it to every developer.

How it works
A theme is announced and developers have until the deadline to build a plugin around it. Then everything is judged in one live stream: each plugin is shown off, and the audience votes on it there and then.
Each entry is rated from one to five stars in three categories (aesthetics, creativity and functionality), and the averages make its final score.
Season 4
Season 4 was completely reimagined: a new website, a new Discord, and for the first time open to all developers. The theme was Machinery.

What we built
pluginjam.com handled the whole season: Discord sign-in, team sign-up, plugin uploads and news. On the night, the same system ran the stream. It put the current submission on screen, opened voting, counted the stars live and drew each final score and the leaderboard as broadcast graphics.
