What it is

Most Minecraft plugin tutorials assume you already know Java. This course doesn't. It starts with an optional Java foundation, then works through the Spigot and Paper APIs one system at a time until students can build complete plugins on their own.

It's sold as the world's most sold Minecraft course, and it's backed by a Discord community where students get help from the support team around the clock.

The syllabus

Twelve sections, from first setup to a minigame engine and multi-server networks. The optional sections let experienced developers skip what they already know.

  • Setting up, and joining the student Discord
  • Java basics (optional)
  • Starting out: commands, events and permissions
  • The heart of the Spigot API
  • More advanced API, including a full custom rank system
  • Advanced level, including a scalable command manager
  • Databases with SQL and MongoDB (optional)
  • Minigames, on an engine that supports any number of games
  • Cosmetics
  • Networks and proxies (optional)
